All for Africa and charity: water to Join Efforts in Malawi

Wednesday May 21, 2008: New York based All for Africa announced today the award of a grant to charity: water (www.charitywater.org). The grant is for the construction, training, and maintenance of 10 freshwater wells in the Republic of Malawi. A portion of the grant will also support charity: water’s operational costs and educational & awareness activities. The $25,000 grant represents All for Africa’s first grant to New York based charity: water. charity: water has currently funded the construction of over 60 wells in Malawi. The freshwater wells are expected to commence shortly with full operation anticipated by the end of 2008. Read More
